If you have autism, you may need additional support at school. This might be an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
What is an EHCP?
It is about you, your strengths and your needs
It helps school to apply for money to support you
Tells your school, college and other people working with you and your family how best to support you, now and in the future.
It is reviewed every year to make sure that the information is up to date
The most important thing to know is that your voice and opinions matter, and this should be clear in your plan.
You can ask your parents/ carers, teachers or someone else you trust, about your EHCP and if you want to attend the next review meeting about your plan.
